The RSIA consists of a number of subscribed members, whose interests as pertaining to the association, are represented by the elected Committee comprising a President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary, as well as a number of ordinary members.

Each of the committee members are elected at the annual general meeting for a period of one year.
 
The committee meets regularly to discuss any matters that might concern the RSIA, including the allocation of funds for certain tasks, the inclusion of a new member and alterations to RSIA policy.
